  1. lmao deam Im 36 yrs old , I never owned a Sony reciever. but from the story You shared with us, Im glad I went Nakamichi. The PA-7 sounds incredible with the Klipsch, or ANY OTHER SPEAKER IM SURE. My HeresyII's are a 4ohm speaker, the 7 is Inherently Stable/Uniform Impedance Amp drives the toughest loads out there with ease, and no compromise in Sound Quality. I RUN MY SYSTEM LIL'HARD TOO, but FIRE? sounds like you were low-ohm'n it the 7 runs about 120* degrees, my winter bedroom heater.
  2. lmao u can bring a horse to water, but u cant make um drink
  3. "global" negetive feedback loop, average stuff, old theory does good on paper, thats about it.
  4. well no doubt , look at the sony your runnin, a 1bit dac, nowonder you know nothing about accuracy lol
  5. with out accuracy, what have you got, nothing but colored music
  6. lol moon , the k-horn =] the chorus II's are a good find along with the belle, forte II's are an excellent stand alone speaker also
  7. but thats were ya go wrong, i call it patience for a good thing...if its worth having, it's worth waiting for....you'll never have to buy an amp again, unless you want to run more speakz, ya its just 2 channel, but when its of this caliber...it sounds like your there, and aint that what your all trying to do? If ya have a solid amp n klipsch heritage.....there is no substitute. i say its a waste of money to settle for average run-of-the-mill-reciever, im not into dsp or 5.1 no thanxz, thats a "fad"....long live analog lol, .002thd is hard to beat for a preamp, and 20-20,000 hz amp(+0.-0.5dB) with 32 hand selected output transistors 16 per with 132,000 uF filter capacitance lol dont let your kids get behind this one lol...if ya have a will-you'll find a way. u cant go wrong, well let me take that back , it might throw your back out
  8. marksdad, bells n whistles interupt signal flow..i done my homework =]
  9. jeff.........u have an excellent taste in audio \=) what u driving for speakz?
  10. ya cj, its a pa7 the 1st one, i heard the khorns on it in audioking back in 1988 and been sold since...i finally woke up n sold my nad 2200's (pair) n saved..i cant believe my ears every day i turn it on after work....lol, all my neighbors in life know me as a rocker, lmao.....but i do it clean now =]
  11. II's by far, age is always a standard for comparison with speakers of klipsch , id choose a II over a I anyday, ok which-one is better, II's are a good thing but better, like for instance, with the chorus's I's were vented with ports forward driving, II's were vented via passive woofer @ rear,
  12. ya, its like a treasure hunt, ebay , becareful tho , check out sellers transactions , u can do the math from that, if the seller is buying a whole bunch of internall electronics, u can imagine its a fixer-r-upper-dude, u have to be patient, n know what u want, i never bought into digital surround , im into quadphonic sound, im in need of sub tho < lol, i owne klipsch heresy, the guitar is awsome on them, n piano not to bad either, ya , nakamichi does it tight
  13. the ca7a pre amp has a sophisticated phono inputs, alowing you to drive a turntable to its limits....and at .002thd with 100db stereo separation, what comes close to that?
  14. look for a pa5 or a pa7 by nakamichi, it is stable at all ohmages
