  1. The leafs looked great last night? Since when did Gary Roberts learn how to hit? Looks like minimal penalties will win us games, let's just hope that Domi doesn't decide to go nuts on Wednesday. Anyone know the condition of Mogilny? He took a nasty hit to the jaw, and looked a little out of it getting up. Any status? Sorry CuJo, looks like your heading back home GO LEAFS GO!!!
  2. BTW: How do you like that NAD T762? I am thinking about picking one up once the T772 come out this summer, hopefully the price of it will go down, your thoughts?
  3. I agree with Diggs, KG 1, 1.2, or 1.5 will match with your KG 4's and would work just fine.
  4. Pat, I am thinking about picking up the NAD T762 myself. Although I have never heard it power any Klipsch speakers, let alone my KG 4's. My only concern is the 1 DSP compared to the 8 on my Yammy. What are your thoughts?
  5. I too have been looking at the same Receiver to power my KG 4's. I however cannot find anyone who has this receiver hooked up to their KG 4's. The receiver has got great reviews, the only thing is that I have not heard it with any set of Klipsch speakers. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!
  6. I ended up getting my KV-3 from ebay for $146 shipped. I really lucked out, found a guy who had it on there for a 3 day auction at $189. Received no bids, so I contacted him after the auctions ended and made the transaction. The guy who responded back to me had one, but it was back in January, not too sure if he still has it or not. I think he put it up for auction. Keep trying on ebay, one usually comes up once a week at a reasonable price.
  7. Check ebay, I just picked up a brand new spool of 100 ft of 12 guage for $55 shipped.
  8. Larry, I had a similar question a few months ago. Didn't have any real answers I just knew I wanted something a little above ear level. I went with the Bell'O 36" stands to hold my KG 1.2's. Was a little unsure how they would look but once I put them together they look great and sit perfectly. They have a place to hide speaker wires, metal or flat spikes for the floor, and the also come with velcro. I opted not to use the velcro in fear of ruining my speakers, however once I placed my KG 1.2's on my Bell'O's they sit very nicely and never move. So I didn't have to use the velcro. I think the top plate is 7x7. My KG 1.2's are about 9x9 and sit just fine. Email me if you are interested in pictures, I can send them out to you along with the contact information for the stands. Thanks, jag
  9. Colin, My recommendation is Bell'O, I love their furniture and I got a really good deal from a guy I dealt with directly. He has postings on ebay, and his userid is dadstoys. I picked up a set of 36" stands for a really good price. If you are interested in his contact information, email me and I can send it off to you. Do some research on a unit(s) you like, find the lowest price and then give it to him. He beat the lowest price I could find on these stands, and he will give you his bottom line, great to deal with.
  10. Used KV-3 on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3002271624&category=14992
  11. BK, I had a very similar question a few weeks back, actually exactly one week ago. I was unsure whether to go with the KG 2.2, KV-2, KV-3, or the KSCC1. I purchased my mains (KG 4's) and rears (KG 1.2's) new. At that time a center channel was really not around, and was really never a concern. Based on DD and Diggs suggestions, they told me to hold out for the KV 3, since there is no "perfect match". A bit apprehensive to buy used, I found one used on ebay. So I bought it, at a very reasonable price. The gentleman was moving and didn't have room for it so I lucked out. It has made such a huge difference in my HT system I cannot even begin to explain. You hear everything...and brings a huge smile to your face and sends chills up your back. It is unbelievable what a difference it makes. My father who has a much higher end HT system was almost jealous as to what his ears had heard. So to answer your question, yes hold out for the KV 3, one appears about every other week or so on ebay, just check sellers feedback, and ask him what else he has hooked up to it. Usually if it is higher end, he must have spent a good amount of money on it and most probably took good care of it. Also ask if they have original manuals and box, could indicate that he purchased it new and not used. Best of luck and hold out for the KV 3.
  12. Thanks for all the advice. I ended up getting a KV-3 off a guy from ebay. Should arrive today, hopefully it is as impressive as everyones else thinks. Thanks again, jag
  13. I usually buy from Sound City as well, just bought a NAD CD Player with warrenty and it is beautiful and came promptly and in perfect condition. Their prices, from what I have seen are the best and they will work with you on shipping. From my experiences I have never had any problems with them and they have always given me a price that another authorized dealer couldn't touch. So I usually go straight to them.
  14. I have been looking for a used KV-3 center channel to go along with my KG-4's (main) and KG-1.5 (Rear). From what I have read and seen this is the "best match" for my current set up. What is a fair price to pay for this center channel? Thanks, jag
  15. I am having a difficult time determining what center channel to get to match up with my KG-4's (main) and KG 1.2's (rear). I have heard many different answers given that there is no "perfect match" which is true. However I am leaning towards something in the KV series, just unsure whether to go with the 2,3,or 4? Any other recommendations beside the KV series? Any thoughts or experiences? Also I will be looking to add a sub woofer, does that make as much of a difference as to what kind to buy as a center does? If so what kind should I be looking for. Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA, jag
