  1. All. I originally started to sell these items back around Xmas, but the company I work for(bellsouth) was purchased by AT&T at the first of the year and all hell broke loose around here after the first of the year. I have been traveling pretty much ever since, but now things are settling down and I have the time to deal with selling them. Seems like some on the forum feel like maybe they were 'promised' some of these items back then. If I have stepped on anybodies toes I truly apoligize, but I told those folks back in Jan what the situation was here, and that I would not have the time then to pursue the sales. I never 'sold' any of this stuff to anybody. If any of those are still interested I still another eico hf81 and the 2 scotts for sale. All you have to do is let me know. I'm not trying to slight anybody, just trying to dispose of some items that are in excellent condition that I no longer have use for. As I told Jmon when he purchased the above eico, music is a funny thing. I now run mac gear only, and for the price somebody can get 98% of the sound for a whole lot less money. Sometimes I wonder why I didn't stop with the eico and scotts, buts thats life. I am happy with what I have and would like these items to go to a good place where someone can enjoy them. All of them have been in my system at some point and all gave great musical enjoyment. Again, if anybody feels like they have been slighted I apologize but I did not want to 'sale' them to anybody until I had the time to ship in a timely fashion. Thanks Dave
  2. Joe. I have sent you a pm. The eico is sold. I have another one if anybody is interested plus the scott is still available. Let me know if there is any interest here on the board. Otherwise I'll put them on ebay or audiogon. thanks
  3. I was able to post one of the internal pics of the eico. i actually posted 2 but only one showed up. If anybody else is interested in any pics let me know. It'd probably be easier to email them to anybody interested rather than me fumbling around trying to post them. thx dave
  4. Jmon. I won't get your email until monday. I used my work account which is also the same one I use for the forum. My home email is not working, don't use it very often. Let me know if anybody is interested in the items. Thanks Dave
  5. I have emailed pics to Jmon and 2dot. Dave
  6. All. My email here at home seems to be on the blitz so I am gonna run into work in a couple of hours and email pics for all who are interested. Melovekhorns..... I have another eico that I am going to sell if you are interested. It is also in great shape, not quite as good as the one listed above but still very nice and plays well. I have had it for about 5 yrs and it was my first foray back into tubes. Let me know if you are interested. I dropped my wifes camera and now can't get it to work, so I'll only be able to supply pics of the two I originally listed until I can figure out the deal on the camera. Just fyi in case anybody else is interested. I've been hoarding stuff for years and have decided to cut back to 2 systems... my cornwalls and lascalas running mac gear. So I am gonna be letting the other mess I have go at some point. Just for listing in case anybody is interested I will be parting with a mac ma6200, another scott 222 but a C model with original case that has been rebuilt, a pioneer sx1280 in very nice condition, a pair of chorus I's in WO 8 out of 10, good corners but one has a couple of small scratches on top of one that warrants the 8. They really are not bad. And a mac1900 very nice but no case. I'll get emails to the the guys interested in the scott and eico asap... Dave
  7. Jmon. I'll send you an email. Anybody know how to post pics? Dave
  8. Hey All. Got to much stuff.....some needs to go to a good home. I have an eico hf-81 that has been fully rebuilt that is about as nice a one as you'll find. 525 if anybody is interested. Also a scott 222 first year that I believe to be totally stock that also has an aftermarket oak case. 350 is the price. not sure how to post pics but I can email if anybody is interested. Both units work and play excellently. Tubes a mixture of OS usa and JJ teslas. Just checking for interest here before I take it to the bay. I mentioned back in Dec about selling some of my stuff but can't remember who was interested. I have used both units extensively and have had no issues with either. the 222 looks to be stock but sounds just as good as a 222c I have that has been rebuilt. I am not sure who rebuilt the eico, but I believe it may have been craig. He can look at the pics and figure out if it was one of his. They look to be spragues and orange drops, but I'm not an elect exp and really don't know.. but it really sounds good. Let me know Dave
  9. Sell them suckers and run like Hell!!!! You have just slipped on a very slippery slope. My first Klipsch purchase was a pair of kg3.5's. Now 20,000 bucks later(with speakers and electronics) I still havent' smarted up. NO wait!!!!.. Is that light at the end of the tunnel? I'll give you 50 bucks to take them off your hands and save you the trouble of going through what I have. but enjoy! They sound great with the right gear...tubes tubes and more tubes. Dave
  10. I own chorus I's and heresy I's not II's. The chorus has it all over the heresy. And I'm not saying by any means that the heresy is not any good. Its really a nice little speaker. But the sound of the chorus is much much larger than any heresy I've ever heard. Dave
  11. That is an excellent buy.. What are you waiting on? There is not a thing wrong with a pair of chorus I's. I consider my chorus I's to be not far behind my cornwalls. great sounding speakers........!! dave
  12. great price. compared to the cornwall they are 'similar'. The chorus does not hit as low as the cornwall, but the bass in tighter. I own both types with the cornwalls being my favorite but in some ways I prefer the high freq on the chorus over the corn. You can't go wrong with these for 400 bucks. Very good speakers... dave..
  13. In the jungle, the mighty jungle the lion sleeps... TONIGHT!!! Awheema wack awheema wack awheema wack Is that the same thing as wacking your wheema? toodles
  14. What clay sells them for is between him and the buyer. If the buyer is happy than who is hurt? I don't see that Clay has done anything wrong, maybe he has stepped on the forums 'unspoken' rules a bit, but no harm and no foul. He's young, new and doesn't understand the comraderie of this forum.. that takes time..... 20 years ago I purchased my 1965 vette coupe for 12000. Nowadays its worth 50,000. If I decided to sell it today to somebody on this forum do you think I'd let it go for 12000?? NOT!!!! Leave the dude alone. He apparently loves Klipsch as much as most of us. If you don't like the price, don't buy them. Dave
  15. Canyonman. I had a golden retriever that the same thing happened to .. Seems it is more common than you would think. The vet told us that it is usually larger, active dogs and usually occurs shorly after they eat. Seems that the extra weight from the food can help the stomach twist if the dogs happens to jump or roll over wrong. It literally flips over and caused internal gas buildup. My goldy was only 4 years old then and really a sweetheart. Damn I've had some good dogs!!! And each one of them were special.. Dave
  16. Oh.. and that being said.. I'd still never get rid of either.. THe las are nice speakers... Just my preference..
  17. I have both cornwalls and lascalas. Are the lascalas that much better? not in my book. I prefer my corns over my lascalas. But understanding that this is in my house, my setup and my gear. I much prefer the bass on the corns over the lascalas.......... YMMV.. Dave
  18. Travis. I am truly sorry for your loss and I know exactly where your coming from. Me and mine are Brittany spaniel lovers. Up until xmas of 2005 we had 5.... Mom, dad, 2 pups and a cousin. The daddy was the first to go just before xmas of 2005. 15 years as the best friend, hunting companion and just plain buddy that a guy could ask for. 6 months later his lady friend, the momma also passed away. Again an excellent friend and companion. My dogs are family just like my kids. Heck santa even comes to visit them too.... and they know and expect it..!! I'm now down to 3 left and the 2 pups although pups nomore are both 12... I really am sorry about your friend. Don't wait to long to find another one. It really does help. Dave
  19. 2005 mazda rx-8. Fun little guy!! Finally the kids are out of the house!!!!
  20. I totally agree with Dave. If you can buy one for 1000 bucks in playing condition grab it before it runs away!!.. Then send it to Terry D and let him do his magic on it. He has done all of my Mac stuff, and I have no complaints whatsover.. The 240 and 225 both are great stereo tube amps. I have both plus a pair of 30's and can't complain about any of them. The 240 is a good full bodied amp when it is in proper condition. Same advice on a 225. If you can find 1 for 1000 bucks jump on it... Its no slouch either! dave
  21. Heck dave,, I got excited about them too.. But I need them like I need a hole in the head.
