I blow a tweeter in my RF3II's but that was because I put 400 watts to each speaker. One held up(for now). That is becasue I put to much power into it and that is expected.

How much do you want to spend? Subwoofer? For a awsome rock system you would have to go with the RF7's and a SVS sub. Now to power all this it would be best to go seperates. As in a amp and a pre. But that is real expsive. I would look into some of the higher end receivers. Like Denon 4802 or 5803, the higher end Harmon's. SVS ultra's would fill in the low end. That would be a head bangers delight.

Some times things can get heated and read into a little much. I have had some talks with Griff. He has strong opions on some things. Some I like some I don't. But that is why this is called a forum. I have seen and read a lot of things he has said that make tons of sense and are right on. I have also seen him ask lots of question about what he doesn't know a lot about. He doesn't call people names. I have no problems with him at all. I have some strong opions my self and some ideas that are not common around here. I am sure I have pissed alot of people off around here myself.

You could go listen to the new polks. The RTi series. Klipsch are great but I know what you are talking about. They can be a little sharp for some types of music.

I have had friends that bought this player when it first came out and non of them have had any problems with them.

Recieved my remote today. It took five minutes to set up. It is amazing so far. The site you use to set it up is easy to use. It had all of my devices, including some wierd stuff. The power of this thing is great. You can change all the buttons. My five year old has it all figured out already. Just tell it what you want it to do and it does all the work. So far I would give it a Big thumbs up. I have only used it for a hour or so, so I will give anothor update in a couple of days.

I have a Hitachi 57" rear projection.

That was good! That one has been going around WI for a little while now, being were the beer guys.

They do sound differnt. I like the RF3II's better. It will not be drastic if you are running differnt rears or sides. I would try and stay the same in the fronts though. Do a search for RC3 and RC35 and see what all the people have been saying. Most of them agree that the rc3 sounded better in some areas.

PQ stand for Picture Quility. You will see this alot. I have only seen it in widescreen. I haven't realy looked that hard for full screen anymore, because of my widscreen tv.

I have the whole set, bought them when the new set came out. I have had no problem what so ever. I thought the alien was fantastic quility for being made in 70's. I think people forget about that and how the technology has changed over the years.

The PQ was great and the scenery was awsome. I think that it was taped for dvd and better format. You can always tell which movies are taped for dvd, there PQ is much better.

You tryed all the **** players at best buy you mean. You are right about the dvi and the Digital tv's. You are completely wrong about the dvd players though. That is it enough said and alot of people will agree based on there personl experence.

I thought that this was a very good movie. One of the best I have seen in a while. The thunder and gun shots were amazing, tight and clean.

Snowmobiles!!! They are so fun in fresh new snow. I am not suposed to ride anymore but my buddy let me take his out for a hour. I am still smilling.

I like your cables. I always wanted to upgrade to some pretty ones but never wanted to spend the money.

I just ordered myself a new remote. It is the harmony SST-659 I have heard some good things about it. I will let you all know how it is. I will be writting a review as soon as I get it and have all the info down loaded into it. This week is going to be so long intill I get it.
