That is differnt that my does smell then. I have been going around the whole room smelling all of the componets to make sure it is the svs and it deffently is. I will watch a movie to night and push it, maybe U-571. If it makes it though that one at a higher volume and doesn't fall everything should be ok. It should get hot enough during that movie to burn everthing off you would think wouldn't you?

I agree with them if something that would cause a smell is it will fail quick. I just don't want to look like a moron if they get it back and there is nothing wrong with it other than it need to be burned in a little more. You know what I mean?

A lot of the amps that I would compare the outlaw to they don't make anymore. The closest one would be the Audire forte 250, the first true mono design about 15 years ago. Effortless power and sound, I haven't heard there preamps though. Don't know what that will do to the sound. I think the sound quility will be much improved with the outlaw over your reciever.

I have the PCI 20-39 and it rocks. It should and will blow any sub except for some of those diy, away in the price range. It realy performs well for ht. Feel the power and the low hz. I was in the same boat you were money. I am very happy with the svs, would never buy any other brand. They are right though you will wounder about two or maybe the ultra's, but it may be suicide for the house or you if you have a wife.

The outlaws would be perfect for you. go with the 200 watts, your right the headroom will give you better sound. You can never have to much power.

Talked to John, three emails in 15min. Nice service. Told me it was probably glue burning off but would send me a new one right away. I told him I would burn it in alittle more over the weekend and let him know. These guys at SVS are great. Every company should take notes. This just shows you that you have nothing to worry about when you buy from SVS they stand behind there products 100% and they do it fast too.

My body has a outlaw amp with his klipsch and they sound good. It depends on how picky you are? What are your listening habits in the past.

what is the 20hz subwoofer going to do with no signal? We are getting of the topic though, there are always exceptions. I believe that know matter what you buy or build there will always be something better out there.

I fon't think the ksw would do much if you would buy a new sub, take it out and use it else where.

Sum of use younger bucks have been around the block once or twice too you know. Just because we are young doesn't mean that we don't know what we are talking about. Don't let a few bad apples reck it for all of use. There is alot of 40 sumthing guys out there that give more bad advice than some of use younger guys. I am sorry for taking this personaly but I have been defending myself from older so called wiser guys my whole life.
