  1. Tom, I find nothing wrong with the repsonse to your letter...they have a point...most manufacturers gives you bogus specs, anyway...face it...BOSE rules! and stop bashing BOSE...peace my friend...
  2. "Desparate for what?" to further fatten their pockets... "I heard it from my Klipsch dealer" and you believe everything they said? how pity...
  3. "Where's the high frequencies? What happens to the meat on vocals from 200hz to 280hz?" whatever you're claiming to hear on your speakers, its called the placebo effect my friend...
  4. ATI never learn from its mistakes...Nvidia does...ATI sucks, period!
  5. a sign that Klipsch is getting desparate...
  6. Ear, I bet your system sounds as loud as the airport...LOL...my humble system is only 3.06GHz but only 22dB in noise and running a 50 degree C cool loaded to the max...I have just upgrade my graphic card to the Leadtek A350 FX5900 (and got rid of the ATI 9700)...I cannot stand ATI...I will never touch another ATI product for as long as I live...their driver SUCKS...so damn unstable and crashed my system left and right...can you say SUCKS?
  7. Ear, why are 450MCX amps too much? the B4-Plus subs don't deserve these amps? arrow, I am much older than you and I am retired...what the heck is this field and major stuff?
  8. I cannot believe all of these BOSE bashing...you guys really upset me...how can you people say that BOSE sucks? BOSE make some of the "finest" speakers in the world...don't believe it? just ask my "self-proclaim" musician (and lawyer) friend...he will attest to the "greatness" of BOSE...see if Klipsch can make a cube speaker that can match the "quality" of a BOSE cube that will cost less...you people are unbelievable...
  9. Ear, each B4-Plus is driven by a Krell 450Mcx...I don't like Klipsch for either home theater or music...I just don't like horns... arrow, my theater room size is about 24x36 and no, the pair of B4-Plus are not for the theater...
  10. darn it, none of my subs (real subs may I add) made Ear's list...
  11. Ear, I picked up a pair of SVS B4-Plus a little over a week ago...amazing subs for the price... anyway, tell me what's the big deal about Klipsch speakers...Klipsch horns don't even compare to Dynaudio Esotar tweeters...
  12. "TheEAR, you...you arrogant...son of a...@$#$%^..."
  13. just picked up a pair of SVS B4-Plus and a pair of Krell 450Mcx today...while the SVS B4-Plus is no match for my Krell MRS (LOL), it is damn cheap considering the output quality...very musical, too...
  14. oogins, for this level of sound quality, these speakers don't cost an arm and a leg...the five speakers and the sub run me about $30K...each speaker is driven by a Krell 650Mc... ear, I am in need of a low-cost sub...I will audition the SVS in a few days...can you tell me the characteristics of this sub...and yes, I still use Krell monoblocks as main amps...someday, I will replace these monoblocks with master reference series amps...
  15. I have finally updated my home theater system with new speakers...after spending weeks auditioning them from my local audio store, the fine Andra speakers are now replaced with WEGG3 Lunare Surface Mission One speakers and the Tranquility Bass sub... needless to say, the experience is better then some of the best local theaters I have been to...IMO, the Lunares are more vivid then the Andras...and they are also stunning in music and bring forth the grace that I have never heard before in the Andras... the transparency and clarity are dead-on with excrutiating details and the holographic imaging gives you the impression that you're sitting right in front of the entire orchestra... although the Lunares are not prone to placement, they can be extremely cruel and mercilessly revealing to inferior materials...this can be good and/or bad depends on your taste... once again, Eggleston has outdone himself...
  16. now you're talking ...the AMS is a great case...I have the special edition myself with 3mm thick aluminum...
  17. "Sometimes its easier to buy things pre-build, of course it will cost a little more." pre-build for 40% more (and you call that a little more? what planet are you from?) with inferior components? thanks, but no thanks...a comparable system from Dell would have cost me over $4,000 (and over $5,000 from Alienware)...if you want to be dumb and crazy about pre-build brandnames, be my guest and fatten their pockets...they need people like you to carry out their corporate abusive power ...I could do a lot more with the extra $1,500 or so...
  18. prodj101, you know you're being ripped off by Alienware...man, that gotta hurt ...
  19. prodj101, I can custom build a better system then your inferior Alienware system that would fit well into your budget... 20. never buy pre-built system...Dell is a piece of junk...Alienware is pure hype...custom build your system is the only way to go... my latest system, running Windows XP Pro...
