kuisis
I need more advice about my home theater. I have a pair of cornwalls, a pair of chorus I, a pair of Herseys, and an academy center. I was wondering what is the best possible configuration for a 5.1 set up. My room is about 20x14. Thanks Tom
Groomlakearea51
Corns L/R, Heresy's on top of the Corns, and the Chorus in the center, flanking the big screen as "centers".. But then again, I'm insane and I've got to sign out here real fast because the nurses are headed down the hall with the rubber gloves.... jacksonbart
consider some room treatments, or best yet buy a Regal Cinema.
jamesV
I would say Cornwalls and Academy for your front and Chorus for the rear speakers. Then have the Heresy in another room for 2-channel. But then again you have all the speakers, run thru the different set-ups and see what sounds better to you. Remember, to listen to them for a for days then switch speakers. Plus this way it will be more fun.... James
kuisis
I already have a two channel set up with lsi's in my game room. I was going to use one of the herseys for a center but then I got a good deal on an academy. I guess there could be worse problems than too many speakers. BuyOtherSoundEquipment
Why not explore the possibilities of 7.1? The room would probably look nearly ridiculous but the sound would be excellent.[*-)]

jamesV
You can never have to many 2-channel set-ups. [] I currently have three, I have set-ups in two bedrooms and another room with the TT. Whatever you decide I am sure it will sound great.. Good luck with all your tough decision... [] James
kuisis
Good guess, I'm single. I still don't have enough room for 7.1, plus how much of an improvement is it really? I think I will try the cw academy cw and chorus rears. I can't wait till I get the academy Tom
