JJkizak Posted December 23, 2008 Share Posted December 23, 2008 The NAVY schools are the best ever conceived. They make our public school systems look like kindegarden. They know what information that you have to get into your brain weather drunk or sober. They give you a reading assignment every night of about 10 pages then give you a 10 question blitz test as soon as you walk in the next morning. Most everybody ace's the test. Then they cover that material all day. Next day start with another 10 pages. Samo, samo. Every two weeks you get a very large test that is impossible to ace. You also get hands on work on the actual equipment. Even if you get a passing grade of "C" you can walk on board a ship and fix the equipment. They want you to be able to repair the equipment and operate the equipment and they do a hell of a job. If you should happen to flunk out of the school you are "busted" and re-assigned to a ship as a "deck ape". That's kind of like the bottom.
