Daddy Dee
I've seen some pretty pricey CD's listed on Amazon. They are usually oop and hard to find. Here's an example of a pricey plain old redbook CD. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000008JSU/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&qid=1233102140&sr=8-3&condition=new
tigerwoodKhorns
Perhaps I should clue these folks in, they are losing a ton of money. Maybe we'll get a cut. http://www.musicdirect.com/product/75458 Music Direct is not missing a penny of profit. They are happy to charge full retail plus shipping for anything that you want, and if it has surface noise you get to pack it up, pay shipping and try to get a new one. At The SHOW their reps told me that getting stuck with a bad noisey album that you paid $40 for "is part of the risk of buying vinyl." Crappy policy I think. I will not be buying from them. You'd think that middle aged guys with lots of disposible income who are happy to actually PAY for music are a demographic that they will want to keep happy. Guess not. oldtimer
Very interesting. I have been lucky once with them, only bought from them once. On the other hand, Acoustic Sounds will give you a return number right away, and they are very fast shippers, no complaints from me about their service.
