Kain Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I made a thread some time back regarding my fairly loud speaker buzz. They buzz regardless if a signal is being sent to the A/V receiver or not. The buzzing is NOT volume dependant. However, few days ago I was "blasting" some 2-channel audio CD at a high volume for about 10 to 15 mins and after I stopped the CD the buzzing was gone! I couldn't hear any buzzing even if I placed my ear right next to the tweeter. Then the buzzing returned after a couple days and I "blasted" another CD at high volume and then the buzzing was gone again. What could be causing this? What does this mean?
