BLSamuel Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 So maybe thi"s is why Professor Thump didn't reply when I posted that Klipsch should make hearing protectors over in Headphones a while back. http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/p/97319/983771.aspx#983771 I believe the patent application includes in ear monitors, hearing protection, stethoscopes and I suspect most anything one would stick in one's ear for music and/or sound reproduction, transmission, or blocking. Could be a new market for Klipsch products or at least licencing fees to other companies to include the design in their hearing protectors, stethoscopes, and other such things. And a new marketing line - "Klipsch - the speaker company that cares about your hearing". Congratulations to Mark. Hoping we'll see an announcement soon that the patent has been awarded.
