Speaker Stands for RB-5 Mains...

Recommended Posts

can anyone recommend speaker stands for RB-5s used in a 2 channel environment???...brands, models that are better perhaps than others???...I would like to avoid sand, water and lead shot but I am open to your recommendations and experiences...

Thanks,

Bill

WOW...on a Forum where a guy gets seven responses to buying black bolts...painted, polished, anodized...I would think someone has some thoughts on this...I know there are many to choose from but wanted to avoid the junk (so much out there)...anyone??? [;)]

Sanus European Foundations (EF) for high tech look, Wood Foundations(WF) for wood. Nice heavy bases with great hardware, available in a variety of heights and styles.

WoodTechnology.com has some too, including some nice stands for center speakers.

How's that?

If you fill them for stability, only go half way up and NO SAND- it attracts moisture and will rust your stands. Lead shot in heavy bags is the way to go.

I actually have a fairly new pair of Sanus stands I was using for my RB75&35's if your interested. I purchased them early Feb. and ended up switching to RF-5's again. I still have the box and packing for them. I paid $150 but will sell them to you for $75 + shipping. Here is the link with the model number...
