JL Sargent
With emergency air on the trailer you can adjust the brakes for "no braking" and move it around anytime no problem. The slack adjuster on those usually takes a 9/16" socket for adjustment. Now you could take a torch and cut the landing legs and wheel hardware out from under it. Then drag it on a nice level spot, paint it, and fabricate a neat pitched roof over it. Eureka, now you have a barn!
Moderators dtel Posted March 22, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2009 OR....when your done with it pull it off from the house a ways and dig a hole somewhere else to get dirt, cover the container with some of that rubber pond liner then cover the whole thing with a big mound of dirt leaving just the door opening......now you have a storm shelter. I have seen one someone made a small porch and roof that sticks out from the door opening to keep rain from the doorway.

Moderators dtel Posted March 22, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 22, 2009 dtel, you're describing a nice wine cellar! That would be a good reason to have emergency drills out to the shelter a couple times a week. [D]
