Vahorns
After unsuccessfully attempting to purchase several different pairs of Forte and Chorus loudspeakers, I finally struck paydirt Saturday. I purchased a pair of Cornwalls, circa 1985, with all updates, from the original owner, oak finish. These speakers are a revelation! On all the materials I have feed them, they have exceeded all my expectations. The mid-range reproduction, along with the imaging, is truly incredible. Extremely low distortion, and high sensitivity equal a fatigue free listening experience! Now I need a good center channel speaker for the home theatre setup! Now to find that Academy or Belle to fill the middle!
boa12
vh, congrats! i know what u mean . course if u have room for a belle, another corn would be best for the middle. if all else fails, a C7 i think is a good match. for me in my set-up, does the job well between the corns. just don't run the c7 full range. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
Klipschguy
Welcome to the club. Ten years later, I still love my Cornwalls as much as the day I got them (funny, I usually got sick of other speakers I've owned within about 6 months). Warmest regards, Andy

Mike Lindsey
I too am looking locally but nothing has come up in a while. I will sell the Chorus II's when I can get my hands on a pair. Congratulations on your find, Vahorns! Mike ------------------ My Music Systems
eq_shadimar
Congradulations on the Cornwalls!!! Welcome to the club. I love mine very very much. I am using a Heresy variant as a center channel and I find it to be an excellent (and at a cost of only $90 very cost effective) solution. Enjoy the sound ------------------ ...wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world... My Home Theater Page
HornEd
Welcome to that hardly sedate section of the Forum known for the Cornwall droolings across each reply. We live somewhere between the K-horns and the Legends... and somehow missed the coppertone bus of the future. Why the "Eq" can't I find a pair of Heresy's for $90 each? They got any more at home like that? I'd like to use them as rear effects in the music room. Wow, shopping like that is going to push you into that rare and heady club of T-T-K and fini. I'm with the edster(00), let's get the Klipsch Classics in the hands of the "Klipsch Worthy" where they will be appreciated! HornEd ------------------ "LEADING 8 LEGENDS INTO THE 6.1 GENERATION!"
