EM3
Just wondering if anyone has picked up any of the mono or stereo recordings that were recently released. I picked up the stereo version of Abbey Road and it sounds really good. I wanted to get Sgt. Peppers but the Wal Mart was out. Any thoughts? oldtimer
Yeah check out 2 channel for lots of thoughts. Of all the songs that everyone says have been overplayed, to me that means just about every beatles song ever recorded.
cmdridq
I'm waiting to hear some customer reviews. Too often "remastered" turns out to be "ripoff."
colterphoto1
The Rolling Stones did a spectacular job on It's Only Rock and Roll, Exile on Main St., Let it Bleed and others. Stupendous detail and separation of instruments while staying true to the original mix.
Dale A B
I see our local library is getting some of the stereo remasters in so I'll put my name on the waiting list as they come in and make myself a copy. I forced myself to listen to Revolver the other night and just confirmed what I already knew - not a fan. NP - UFO - The Visitor
JerolW
I have both sets. It's like night and day compared to the '87 cds. jerol
