The Dude
Seen them many times as well. Will say the St. Anger tour was one of the best here recently but no complaints from them ever. Was Lamb of God with them or Machine Head. Hope you and your daughter had a great time,l hopefully my daughter and I get that chance(course shes 6 now so I think she will be ready to go in a couple of years. Just seen Down agian thats who was on tour with them when they came through here in last year. duder
nomad02rider
Gorjida, and Lamb of God. Place didn't fill up until just before Metalica. They played over 2 hours. And at $8 a beer , $32 tee shirts x2, $169 tickets, I will need to work some more O.T. Hopefully it will be a good memory for my daughter. The Dude
Gorjida is freaking awesome there a death metal band from france. I seen them with i think it was Mudvayne or Lamb of God can't remember. Seems like no ever does show up until the end for Metallica. I am sure your daughter will allways remember that. thanks for sharing your story duder. thefluffy
I saw Lamb of God with Gorjida and I think Machine Head back in '07. It was a pretty good metal show. However, I did not like Lamb of God's sound setup one bit. It was excessively loud.... I mean uncomfortably loud. My ears were ringing for a few days afterwards. Not related to Metallica, but I thought it was semi relavent. Daniel
SWL
A couple years ago I went and seen Godsmack with a couple buddies on a Thursday night. This was the first concert I've been to where there was so many parents at the show with their kids.Very cool.......but different. greg928gts
Saw them last night with my youngest daughter. We really enjoyed the show. Cool. My wife and I were on vacation in Miami that week and heard about the show on the radio. We scored some great tickets outside. "In the round" is a great way to see a concert. The sound is always better that way. In this case, the sound was just ok. Why is it that with so many of these groups, the vocals are mixed so far back that you can't understand any of the lyrics?
