Magong
Hi everyone, I'm new here and i need some help on deciding what AVR to buy. I'll be buying the Klipsch RF-62 series and i have no ideal which AVR is best suited for these set of speakers. i just want the best quality of audio an AVR can provide these speakers. I'll be using it more on movies. A 7.1 or 7.2 AVR is what im looking for and price range is between $400 - $800. I'd appreciate any suggestions..... Thanks in advance!!! Triaxtremec
If you can find a Onkyo 807 you'd be well off. I have the 805 paired with the RF82's, RC62, and RS52's and love it. Don't get the 806 though, the amps last year sucked in them.
Cal Blacksmith
Really in that price range, pick the features you like and you will be fine. You will find that most here like what they have, be it Yamaha, Pioneer, Dennon, HK, Onkyo etc. ect. ect. My personal perference is the Yamaha. I have had them since the '70s but there are just as many here that like other brands just as much.
Rick
^^^^^ Agreed! I love Yamaha as well but there are other good choices too.
peshewah
If you get a lower end Yamaha with all the bells and whistles you need, and a amp, the 62's will sound fantastic.
picky
I agree with Cal Blacksmith's philosophy, except that my preference is for Pioneer or Pioneer Elite (I own & use both now). My Elite is running my 7.1, RF7 HT with no problem. Yamaha, Onkyo, Harman-Kardon and Denon are also good choices, as my buddy Cal mentioned. Happy shopping! - Glenn
Islander
Yet another Yamaha fan. Their clear sound goes well with the clear sound of Klipsch speakers.
