Finally I've got the Klipsch system I've always wanted and now have to make a choice for subwoofer.I have RF-3II RS-3II and RC-3II and love the way it sounds....even my wife is a Klipsch convert...Now that is a miracle!!! I'm considering the KSW-15 or one of the reference line but have no place to check them out.The room my home theater is in is large 26' by 20'with catherdral ceilings.Any opinions about what would compliment the speakers I have in regards to a Sub??? This forum has been a great source of info and any help is welcomed.I've learned alot from you guys Thanks.................

Very good question. I too have the same exact speakers, and am looking for a matching sub. My room is 16x20. I've been reading here for a month now and enjoy everyone's opinions, and this is my first post. I currently have a AudioSource 15, but would like something less boomy, with more accurate thump. I was wondering which RSW sub I should consieder also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may want to post your questions in the "Subwoofer" area. It's a bit further down in the forum. Check it out, I'm sure their are threads posted their that may be of benefit also.

Hey guys just wanted to mention to you that I wouldn't limit yourselves to a Klipsch subwoofer. Nothing against them but as I'm sure you know that matching speakers is important but having the same brand name for a sub isn't that important. I have an infinity hps 250 which isn't made anymore I like it but I'm not saying its the best out there. Also for me I tend to like front firing subs more, if I could I would trade mine in for one instead of the downfiring. If you want a real powerful sub that is clear and your not worried about price, sunfire is the way to go all the way. Other than that I haven't listened to subs in a while so I don't have much for you other than one last point. That is (to me) 15 inch subs aren't as clear as 12 inch subs. thats why I choose mine. It was as loud and powerful as the 15 but so much clearer. Happy hunting.

Granted I'm subless till we get our house built but I'm looking at Velodyne,MK,Sunfire and for thinking outside of the box SVS is quite possible. The KSW never did it for me I'm not knocking Klipsch here but it seems they were manufactured for the masses while the old SW series seemed to have more meat and potatos behind them if you know what I mean. For the RSW couldn't tell ya Sound Advice only special orders them (what a great way to market a product)

Oh by the way whats your budget?
