wsd Posted January 11, 2010 Share Posted January 11, 2010 I have Forte I's for fronts, Academy for center and KG3's for surrounds (no sub yet). my room is 12 x12. I have narrowed my selection down to the following AVR's (price limitation) Denon AVR-1910 (~$410 shipped) or the Onyko TX-SR607 (~$399 shipped) I am unable to listen to either prior to purchase, I have heard that Denon has a better sound with the older klipsch speakers. The 805 is light years better than either the Onkyo 607 or the Denon 1910 and for the same price plus shipping. Keep in mind that the 805 is a beast(tall,deep,heavy) so make sure your stand or cabinet will accomodate.
