In the 19th century we had an early form of texting - telegraphy with Morse code. Then A.G. Bell invented the telephone, allowing direct speech communication. Now, in the 21st century we have... texting! Sorry, but I just don't get it, holding a perfectly good telephone while tapping out a digital message just like 1864 or something.
