garyrc
Who knows how to get Space Array diffusors, other than making them? Auralex is not producing them at the moment due to quality control issues, and they had a MSRP of almost &800 a pair back when they were making them. Does anyone know who produces the competing product that at least looks similar, but one of the fillers in one of the corners is flush with the surface, unlike in the Auralex product? Price? Vendor? Can anyone recommend a difussor that provides hemispheric diffusion in at least two directions? Ideally, I would like to stain them walnut, to pick up the color of the bookshelves, Thorens base, and the Khorns. The Auralex product can be painted, but not stained, unless the seal is penetrated, and with all those nooks and crannies, and our abilities, such a project has "screw-up" written all over it. artto
RPG Acoustics.I believe they had that product first and Auralex might be simply selling the same product OEM under their own brand name, not sure, but some stuff sure looks the same. http://www.rpginc.com/ http://www.rpginc.com/ And then of course there's always the polycylindrical masonite panels. They are by far much more effective, and less expesive too but DIY.
