Vick's Pit
Can anyone recommend any decent 16' or 18' traditional shuffleboard tables? I live in a high rise condo building that has a huge rec room in the basement. The association was looking for suggestions for stuff to put in there. I had the idea about a table, but don't know any good brands or features to look for. Where are good places to buy them? Online or retail stores? I live in downtown Chicago. The budget is probably around 2-4k. I know a lot of you have big basements with audio equipment, so I figure maybe a couple members have a table? Daddy Dee
That is an awesome idea for a room. I've always wanted to have one at home, but never have had the space. Much better than a pool table, IMO. Just get as long a table as the space will allow. Taverns always have long rascal tables.
Vick's Pit
Thanks for some of the imput guys. I am still doing my research and on different brands and models. I wanted to get a longer table, but then we start getting past the budget. Any other imput is welcome. I'll let you know how it turns out. picky
I LOVE table shuffleboard! I've played since I was a little kid. They always remind me of the little bars up north at the inland lakes around Michigan. -Glenn
oldtimer
You make it sound so quaint Glenn but the fact is every decent dive (not to be confused with total dives) in Texas has them. Bubble league hockey however, is a rare treat to be savored.
