Beta
Hi all, I am at my office right now so I can't look at the back of my HIIIs. I'd like to use jumper cables with them. Does anyone know if the stock jumber plate removable? Or do I use the jumpers with the stock plate in place? It seems to me that removing the stock plate is the proper way to go? Hence, is it removable? Thanks for your help. Much appreciated! Andy

jheis
What do you hope to accomplish by using jumper cables in place of jumper plates? A short circuit is a short circuit. James
Islander
You would think so, but there are all kinds of "audiophile" jumpers available, for all kinds of prices. I even read a speaker review in an English magazine where the reviewer said, "Of course I changed the jumper cables right away, so the speakers wouldn't terrible, the way they come out of the box.", or words to that effect. One would think this is an application where bent coathanger wire actually would do a decent job.
