garyrc Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 The manufacturers are barreling ahead on 3D like a Toyota running wild. How can they hope to make this work in the middle of a recession? But .... having saved up for a few years, we were just going to buy fabric for a DIY 10 foot wide projection screen, and a projector, but who knows if the following are true: 3D front projection requires a silver projection screen, and uses regular Polaroid 3D glasses, not the shuttered kind used with flatscreens Because of the above, the image would be darker, everything else being equal The screens can't be acoustically transparent Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
