JasonJCarney
I am looking for a 3-5 inch mini exhaust fan that is ac powered. I want to install it in the back of my projector cabinet to help remove heat. The only problem is everything I see is DC powered. Does anyone use anything like this for heat removal in their equipment cabinets? Anyone know where I could find one? or who may make them? Thanks

oldmako
I picked one up on ebay for just a few bucks. The only issue with it is noise. Its just a bit too high powered (loud)....but it moves a prodigious amount of air. I have a Flame Linear and when cranking the tunes it can get a bit toasty. So, I only use the fan when I am blasting my tunes. Fortunately at lower volumes the fan isn't required. But what fun are lower volumes? Big speaks, big sound! clermontcop
#5. I mount this board onto the back of my entertainment system. I have 3 speeds in which I can adjust. It does a great job keeping all of my components cool.
slewisg22
I would just use a couple PC case fans wired into a small AC/DC converter which you usually can find piles of in thrift stores. You can even get the LED lit fans to "project" your "coolness". Was that a pun?
