Audible Nectar
Looks very nice! How do you like the in-walls? Is it customary to ceiling mount those? I know a few folks who like the concept - just curious if you are pleased with them. ------------------ First we Rock, then we Roll! Voodoo chile
Thanks dnd, I would say that it isn't customary. But it was really the only option I had. My room is rather narrow, so to get the optimum distance from the TV the seating position is against the back wall. The IW's do sound pretty good considering, the bass is missing the punch. I think if they were in a wall though that wouldn't be a problem. I'm also in need of a real a/v rack, the one I have is decades old and I've had to cut holes in the back because everything is too deep. I'm working on building my own. rowooo
Looks great! I know those CF-3's sound as good as they look. Long live the LaserDisc, I have the Sony MDP 455, and yes I still use it.
Mighty Favog
Wow, Laserdisk....I remember selling a top-loader Pioneer in the early eighties. Man I'm gettin' old! ------------------ Tom's Money Pit
Voodoo chile
Thanks guys, Keith, the turntable is OLD, it's made by Optonica (old division of Sharp) it's my dad's actually. My old K-Tel records sound pretty good I can't give up the laser disc! I have the Star Wars trilogy (orginal version) and a number of other discs that aren't on DVD yet. I still think it gives DVD a run for the money regarding the picture quality. Rowoo, did you get my PM about the CF-3's? V
