Am wondering if there have been sucessful upgrades to the compression drivers and or the bass driver. I just bought a set of 1996 Forte ll and I am considering possible options. Thanks Moray James. RichardP Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 Bob Crites (BEC here; or www.critessspeakers.com) sells replacement crossovers and titanium tweeter diaphragms for many Klipsch models. From my informal observations of postings of Forte mods, people seem to get the most change from the new tweeter diaphragms. They are do it yourself, with pictorial instructions on his website, or you can send your tweeters to him for installation. It's something I will do eventually, whenever... I made the changes after I had them for a while and I'd suggest the same for you. Give your ears time to get used to the sound. For me the most bang for the buck were the titanium diaphragms.
