I have the Panasonic AE3000u and I love it. One thing to keep in mind that if you do not have total control over the lighting in your room, a projection might not be the best option. My projector looks amazing when it is dark. If there is a lot of ambient light, it will begin to wash out. Just something to think about. Pulldown or electric screen for night time movies, TV for daytime and everyday watching. I had originally thought about doing that in my theater room but we don't have cable and probably watch less than 10 hours of TV in the theater room a year. Movies three nights a week, football on Saturday and Sunday and gaming on the PS3. All activities are priceless on a huge screen and I'd do what I had to do to control the light.
