boa12
try like the fly II. like when the fly buzzes around goldbloom's head 360 degrees. the matrix too of course. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
Lone Palm
As far as good movies go "Behind Enemy Lines" Is predictable, lightweight fluff. The DD5.1 is a surround funhouse. One of the best I've heard.
lovedrummin
Try T2 - good explosions. Also Saving Private Ryan and Pearl Harbor - skip the mushy beginning and go right to the battle. You'll think you're in the middle of a war zone. The next one on my list to get is Armageddon. I've seen/heard this one on a VHS tape through a surround system and can't wait to get the DVD. ------------------ Lew Not Too Old To Rock 'N' Roll
boa12
yea anything w/ bullets ricocheting around tends to be good surround if mixed right like behind en lines, matrix. i really like the shootout scenes in Heat. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
Maximo
Star Wars Phantom Menace, pod race scene is a good reference for a dd 5.1 system. This message has been edited by Maximo on 05-06-2002 at 10:40 AM
SCOOTERDOG
I would take a listen and watch Swordfish. The sound was excellent. Again, lots of explosions and bullets flying around. The movie is ok but the sound sold me onit. ------------------ Denon AVR 3801 Onkyo M504 Power Amp driving the mains Techenique A-10 DVD Audio/Video Player Pioneer DVL-909 Laserdisc/Dvd Player Dish Network Dolby Digital Sat receiver Klipsch La Scala ( Mains) Klipsch RFC5 Center Klipsch RSS6 Surround Side Klipsch RSS .5 Back surround Klipsch KSW 12 Subwoofer
Mlstrass
I'll have to add Lethal Weapon 4 to the list. Just watched last night and it was GREAT. Gunfire, helicopters, and rain moving around all the speakers, plus PLENTY of loud explosions.
