RF-3II vs KSF-10.5

Thanks Matthew. I bought the RF-3IIs on Saturday to go with my Yamaha RX-V2200 and RC-3. They got swapped out with a 12-year-old pair of Polk Audio Monitor 10Bs. I'm fairly happy so far. They really shine when cranked up. I put on The Black Crowes "Lions" and turned it UP - Whoa!! The vocals and mid-range sound awesome. The downside is that I have no subwoofer(yet), and these speakers don't put out that much low-end bass. I'm so craving a sub for it to all come together perfectly.

For the subwoofer, you should look at SVS subwoofers. Smile.gif

I used to own the KSF8.5(I demoed the KSF10.5) and about a month ago I bought the RF-3II. Both are great speakers that offer great bang for the buck. However, the RF-3's are a much more musical speakers capable of doing everything a speaker does better.

Just curious what price is your friend selling those 10.5's for? I tried to sell my KSF8.5's on ebay about a year ago. I put the starting bid at $180 for the pair I couldn't believe I didn't even receive one bid. I even had it up for 10 days! I ended up selling them locally for $225/pr
