mungkiman
My current remodel client has offered me her previous equipment, none of which I am familiar with. Most is at least 9 or 10 years old, and all of it works. Can any of you provide either positive or negative feedback on any of the following? Denon DVM-1800 5-disc DVD changer. Also plays CDs but it seems to only play store bought and not copies (?!) . Denon DRA-395 Multi-Room stereo receiver . Jamo MPA-101 2 x 50 Watt (stereo) amplifier . Toshiba SD-3750 DVD/CD/MP3 player . Polk Audio Digital Solutions pre-amp/digital processor w/25-pin (powered) sub .

fini
I've used that (or one very similar) Denon stereo receiver, and liked it. I have no experience with the rest, but since it's free, you could take it all, try it, then pass on what you can't use.
Brac
I have a couple of those amps, not power houses, but decent sound.

merkin
Heck Free. That is like free beer. If you don't like it after you try it just don't buy any more. You are out nothing. I have a couple denon receivers and really like them. The cheaper ones still work well Great for second systems
