Thaddeus Smith
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2681&seq=1&format=2 Day dreaming about my future HT final build. I have some nice bulk vampire wire interconnect cable, but this stuff is thick and wont fit in your typical inexpensive ends. So at $3.06 each, is there any reason I couldn't use these monoprice cables to connect my Denon to an XPA-5?
Cal Blacksmith
None that I can see but then, that is just me. I have always been happy with monoprice products. I have yet to find one that I don't like. YMMV!
Thaddeus Smith
they're billed as digital coaxials - so I wasn't sure if there was a magic reason not to use them as analog interconnects. since I'm not really concerned with super audiophile sound tinting I wanted to find out of there was some sort of interference issue I might run into. Likewise, I've never been disappointed in monoprice.
CECAA850
It say "for S/PDIF, Digital Coax, Subwoofer & Composite Video " so I would think it would work.

Rivernuggets
That's the exact cable I'm using with my UMC-1 and a Sunfire amp. No problems at all.

SuBXeRo
they will work fine, i have used them before, they are just capable of passing a digital signal if need be. They are also shielded which is extremely important.
