Tool to Assist Bass Horn Builders

Excellent Ideal! If all internal boards are same width, you could also just make top fork long enough to mark the center of internal placement. I prefer a Tri square to measure placement of internal boards, add additional measurement to locate center. Draw line, then adjust tri square back to support internal board while placing 1st screws at each end. However I've never built any base horns. My tri square limits me to about 18 inches.

To location screws I dry assemble the parts to be glued by first either clamping or tacking the panels together (using brads) then outlining the entire joint using a sharp pencil. When the parts are taken apart, the joints are defined and a pilot hole can be drilled from inside out locating the screw.

Attached is example. Look close, a pencil line is seen.
