gooch
Hey b-man1, what was your reasoning behind picking up the XBR 40"? ------------------ RF-3 RC-3 RS-3 KSW-12 Sony Trinitron 32" Denon 3802

I can't speak to his reasoning, but I hope his method includes a forklift, or several stout Bubba's!! That thing weighs a ton! Hope your apartment is on the ground floor, for your delivery people's sake as well as your neighbors'. gooch
You guys are a crack-up! But really, what was the reasoning behind _purchasing_ the XBR 40" as opposed to other direct views or even a projection? ------------------ RF-3 RC-3 RS-3 KSW-12 Sony Trinitron 32" Denon 3802
justin_tx_16
better picture quality to a projection, and the XBR just has a great picture and some neato features. ------------------ -justin SoundWise Support A technical help site created by me and my fellow Klipschers I am an amateur, if it is professional; ProMedia help you want email Amy or call her @ 1-888-554-5665 or for an RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5 Klipsch Home Audio help you want, email support@klipsch.com or call @ 1-800-KLIPSCH RA# Fax Number=317-860-9140 / Parts Department Fax Number=317-860-9150s>
b-man1
my reasoning for the 40" xbr was: 1. the largest tube i could find locally 2. i dislike projection tv's compared to tube quality 3. it's given good comments on all the forums i could find 4. "everyone" has a 32" or 36" sony wega...i wanted the DADDY xbr. haha ------------------ SF-2 mains sc-1 center kb1.1 rears ksw-12 sub denon 2802
