Bigal63
Put new caps in my H-2's a few weeks ago. Didn't much care for the sound right away, but they are my shop speakers and have been spending alot of time rebuilding my Eico HF-12 tube amps with the music on and I can't believe how they have come to life !!!!! I am now hearing things in music that I have never herd befor......All I can say is WOW !!!![]

Dennie
Congratulations Big Al! [<)] When I replaced the original crossovers in my 1979 La Scalas, I said it sounded like someone took a blanket off of my speakers. The difference is amazing and I'm glad you made the change. Moderators dtel Posted December 2, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2012 Congratulations Big Al! When I replaced the original crossovers in my 1979 La Scalas, I said it sounded like someone took a blanket off of my speakers. The difference is amazing and I'm glad you made the change. Dennie Exactly what I heard, much clearer and more detailed, I had the really old oil can looking parts that had actually started leaking. Kg4guy did a great job rebuilding them for us, the difference is not a little one.
Daddy Dee
old worn out caps make for edgy sound. it's pretty simple, and not an expensive proposition, to return vintage heritage speakers to near factory spec. They sound pretty darn good.
indyhawg
One of the best upgrades I have done was recapping my Fortes. It is amazing the difference in sound. Congrats on a successful recap.
