Jay481985
I think government should protect me from violent crime (possible to do on your own, but I'd rather not militarize my house) Yet the trend is that violent crimes have been going down since the 70's and 80's. Social Science akins it to either the stoppage of lead in gasoline or abortions (unwanted babies are not raised in an unwanted family) But you will call this BS. Also let's be frank, how many guns do you have in your house? if>0 you already militarized your house. That's about it. Unless they want to invade oil rich countries to raise my standard of living; then that's good too Wow soo much contradictions. So well if you happen to find a shale natural gas or let's just say oil deposit under your house, then the American Government should come and invade your property to raise the standard living of everyone else, then that's good too! I don't get news from any television network Spoken like every tea partier There were 200 job postings on craigslist yesterday in my city. There should be no welfare programs, and unemployment should max at 2 weeks per year, not 26. (I worked 3 simultaneous minimum wage part time jobs during part of my undergrad. People need willpower, not government) Yes because those 200 jobs posting were practical for everyone who doesn't have a job. This line of thinking is asinineIf you can't afford to have children and you do, you should be 'fined' (obviously don't have any money, so it would be shifts at Walmart) You just want to live in masterxela world, not the real one. All hail emperor masterxela!

Jay481985
Such tripe. State where I am wrong. Not taking the bait, for a variety of reasons. Post on............ The problem here is that I said social contract in the theory form that founded the constitution and people assume I am this liberal. Read Hobbes' Leviathan its as close to socialism as facism is. Social Contract does not mean socialism. Yet no one has proven me or even tried to debate me on the merits of CFL versus LED's
CECAA850
I have no issues with your stance on CFL's versus LED's. You make valid points.
Jay481985
I didn't want to strawman into government talk, I just really wanted to debate cfl versus leds. I am actually going to do a full house switch when 100 watt equivalent >1600 lumen leds become around 14 dollars or so or when the price ratio becomes good enough to switch over versus cfls in the overhead lights of the house.
