SilverSport
I prefer my Chorus IIs over the Cornwalls I had...but I know plenty of people who think the opposite... Bill
Marvel
I also think the Cll with the passive sounds quite a bit better than the first ported Cl. That could be the difference in the midrange horn.I temporarily had a set of CHIIs here, and thought they would be the replacement for my LaScalas if I had to let the LS go. I heard the CWs at the Klipsch HQ in Indy, and thought they had too much bass "bloom". To me, the Chorus (either the original or II) would be better from the WAF standpoint. Mallette
Give me pitch definition over a rumble box anyday! Give me Klipschorns or give me death! [] Dave
colterphoto1
I've got a few of these, used to think the CW was the greatest thing but to my ears, in my room, the forte II has a much smoother vocal range due to that horn. The K600 is a bit squonky really, but at volume I prefer the more natural sound of the CW bass reflex to the passive radiator of the forte II.
