tblake10
Never tried the Emotiva gear but have been interested after hearing good reports. Like to try the xpa-200 with my khorns. The input impedence is a good match for my JM BBX pre. There are not that many solid state amps that are a match. If you get one let us know how you like it. USNRET
XPA-5 is doing quite well on my Belles in HT mode (Pr-SC5507 processor) but I can say that the XPA-1s had too much gain (or some other mis-match) that caused a lot of idle/low volume hiss on 2 channel using a JM Peach as the preamp, again on Belles. I am using the XDA-1 into the Onkyo > Emotiva Mini A-100 amps for zone 2 with Sqeezebox Duet and Klipsch KPT-100s outside. A spare Mini A-100 awaits to feed zone 3 via Squeezebox Duet and Cornwalls in the garage.
LCSeminole
Currently I have 8 different Emotiva products in my home theater or two channel setups, and will have more in the future I'm sure.
mike stehr
I picked up a UMC-200 around a month ago during the holiday sale. I doubt I could do better for 600 bucks.
