eaux
Amazing deal. If you didn't have this special company pricing but were to buy it from an authorized retailer offering the best possible price, it would have costed you an extra grand, at least. cyclones22
So I don't really know what to do with my old RF-15s, so I decided to run them as front wides and see how that goes for a bit. Any opinions on this? Could they negatively impact my listening experience?
derrickdj1
Front Wides will provide directional cues amd ambience.. I would try it. I have used my RS 35's as FW and they were great in that role. A lot of it depends on how you avr handels timber matching.
Scrappydue
Rf-15's make great bedroom speakers run off a small integrated amp mi ran rf-52's for a while till a buddy needed them so I sold them to him. Ran them off my emo mini-x a100. Sounded awesome.
cyclones22
I thought about it moving them to my bedroom. I have an Onkyo tx-nr509 or Denon 3805 to power the bedroom and I still have 4 RB-15s, an RC-25 and an RW-12. I've found that the RB-15s are perfectly fine for fronts in my bedroom, so that's why I'm experimenting with the RF-15s as front wides. After some initial testing, I think it sounds fine. It surely doesn't seem to be negatively affecting my listening experience. I was just curious if it would since they are the lowest level reference speaker and I'm using them with flagships.
