derik
I just got the Roger Waters dvd, In The Flesh, and I am very impressed. It has some awesome low frequencies and alltogether GREAT sound. The picture is also amazing, but doesnt' compare to the sound quality. I know this sounds like an advertisement, but I couldn't go without telling other audiophiles about this. If you care for Pink Floyd or Roger Waters at all, you need this. If anyone else has seen this dvd, respond and let me know what you think. BurtonMercer
I totally agree. I just bought this one two days ago myself. It's an all-around excellent quality DVD - audio, video, and especially the performance itself. Roger has put together a great band. How about that Doyle Bramhall II on guitar - what a bad ***!!!! gary101050
I agree. I have this one also in my collection. Just thought I would let any Pink Floyd fans in the Phoenix, Arizona area know that this Saturday night (7/13) A tribute band called A GREAT GIG IN THE SKY will be performing at the bash on Ash in Tempe. I have not seen them before, but I understand from a fellow employee who is a photographer for them, that they put on a 3 hour show, complete with lights and the whole array of PF techno gadgets. I am really looking forward to this event. I will let you know on this post how the show was.
gary101050
Correction. The tribute band's name is THE GREAT GIG IN THE SKY. Sorry. Also this band also has a website. www.thegreatgiginthesky.com
gary101050
Saw the show Sat. Night. It was very good. Lots of light effects, fogging, etc. Played for 3hours with a 25 minute break included. The sound was very good. Played all of the old standards. Roger, David and the rest of the Pink Floyd gang would be very proud of these guys.
