windiew
I have inherited a pair of Klipsch Epic CF4 Speakers which I need to sell. I had intended to post them on Craigslist, but know nothing about their value. Feel free to laugh at my audio ignorance, but I'd appreciate any advice! Moderators Youthman Posted November 2, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2013 If you must sell, location, condition, and pics will help as well as what you would take for them.
Woofers and Tweeters
They're junk and should be given to me... I do want a pair of these to go with my CF-3s. As Youthman said: location, condition and pics will help us help you. What wood are they?
windiew
The speakers are in Knoxville, TN. The wood is cherry. They belonged to my brother who loved them, so I think they are in good condition, but I can't confirm. I'm trying to determine an asking price range, which is why I came to this forum. Welcome to the forum! The CF4 is a stout speaker that makes tons of bass. The largest speaker in that line, actually. Pics would help more accurately put a value on them. They have an issue with the cabinets coming apart over time. Have you noticed that anywhere? Especially the back. In absolute mint condition, clean grills, good corners, no cabinet issues, all 4 drivers functioning, etc.....you may see $800-$900. That would be top dollar I would say. $500-$700 would be what you could expect. That's my opinion though, someone else may have a different opinion. If you can, get some pics up, I'd like to see them! Edited November 2, 2013 by philly0116

Woofers and Tweeters
I have seen them listed for as little as $400, if they were closer I’d own them. These have been listed for several months: http://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/ele/4087579494.html This was a great deal since it came with a Yamaha receiver http://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/143897-cf-4-klipsch-speakers-and-yamaha-receiver-600-savage-mn/ These were CF3s and looked great. I don’t know what they got for them and the other equipment offered. http://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/146094-aloha-cf-3-450/ Hope this helps, James
