Powwers16
I found a deal on Craigslist for some Klipsch RB-15's for $50. After doing a little research trying to figure out whether this was a good deal or not, I looked on ebay and found the RB-10's selling for $200 so i came to the conclusion that it was a decent deal. I had bought some used RF-52's and a RC-52 earlier this week and needed some surround speakers and these seemed to be the perfect, non-expensive solution. After picking the speakers up, I noticed that they were in excellent condition EXCEPT that both speakers had a little dent in the woofer. It doesnt look like a puncture, just a dent. I've hooked the speakers up and they sound great, I haven't noticed any distortion due to the dents. However, I'm somewhat OCD and like my speakers to look brand new. Would it be worth the extra money and hassle replacing the woofers on these speakers? The only woofers i've been able to find that may fit are some replacement woofers for the RB-51 on ebay, which are the same size. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Brand-New-Woofer-Part-No-1000267-used-in-RB-51-/300984285526#shpCntId here are the replacement woofers. Scrappydue
If call Klipsch and check for woofers or ask about the RB-51 woofer being a direct replacement. Might have some different specs and now work well for you.
willland
Don't know exact price of new RB-15 woofers but it should not be more than $100.00/pair shipped. Is $150.00 for like new RB-15's reasonable to you? Your call. Bill
Scrappydue
bill should be less than that. my rb-61 woofers were only 99 shipped from klipsch. so i am betting something more in the 60-75 shipped range IF they still carry it.

Powwers16
This is the EXACT woofer that is in the RB-15. The dealer lets you make an offer so i bet i could end up getting 2 woofers for only about $50. http://www.ebay.com/itm/One-K-1130-AB-5-25-13-34cm-Cerametallic-cone-cast-polymer-frame-for-RB-15/221312108485?_trksid=p2047675.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D18058%26meid%3D2527029342333667459%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D8304%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D321235794949%26 Edited November 7, 2013 by Powwers16
