quakana
Guys I am just getting back into the Klipsch world (Bought a brand new pair of KSF-10.5 back in the day and just bought RF-7ii's) and have seen pics of what looks like a reference model that has 3 drivers. What model is this and why do you think they have mostly done systems with 2 drivers instead of 3? Just curious here Edited December 22, 2013 by quakana

I am only aware of two models of Reference Klipsch with 3 woofers, the RF-83 and RF-63. I don't know of the reason for this. While I am certain that the flagship RF-7II was the replacement for the RF-83, I wish Klipsch would have retained a 2nd tier flagship like an RF-63II. The towers are the RVX-54's, the center is an RVX-42, the surrounds RSX-5's, and the sub is an RW-12. Bill

Scrappydue
I'm a much bigger fan of the rf-63/83 sound over the 7ii. My opinion of course.
