If you are looking for solid state, this is going to be one of the best options with Heritage if you want tube-like sound. If I wasn't using tubes, this is an amp I would be using. Stuff from Classe Audio doesn't often come up at this price, and for solid state, I'm not sure you can do any better for $495.
