oldtimer
That brings to mind two stories. One about animals and music and one about cowbells. When i was repairing my 1980 vintage Mission 700s to give as a gift to my father-in-law, I had to test them after putting on new surounds to the woofers. I chose Paul Simon's Graceland as a test record, and my wife from the back of the house said that Pandora (our rabbit at the time) really liked the music. Well she does have good taste. (The rabbit of course) Anyway, once the family went to visit my step-fathers old stomping grounds in Louisianna where he grew up. We collected a bunch of old cowbells from the farm. I painted them with rustoleum black and arranged a cowbell tree as part of my drum set. Nothing like a real cowbell sound. Not as cutting and pure as the Latin Percussion cowbell I mounted on the bass drum but tons of fun for getting different sounds than the average drummer.
