paliach
Hello all! i recently purchased a Klipsch Synergy Setup: Klipsch Synergy F-30 floorstanders Klipsch Synergy C-20 center Klipsch Synergy S-20 right and left surrounds (2) BIC PL-200 12" subs Yamaha Aventage RX-A3020 and am stuck on the rear surrounds... should i go with Klipsch B-20's or S-10's? im leaning towards the S-10's... also as a side note, i need to mount these with a little downwards tilt/angle as they will be mounted up high to clear some windows. feedback welcome!!! derrickdj1
I have used towers and the rs speakers for rear. Both will work but, tower provide a lot of extra bass. It depends on what type of space you have to work with. I used the RS speakers flush mounted, some people like to aim the speakers downward. WakeJunkie
I have owned the S-1 (predecessor to the S-10) and still have a pair of B-2 (predecessor to the B-20). I can say the B-2 will blow the S-1 out of the water. Not even comparable. I would either go with a rear set to match the side S-2's or go with the B-2's
dimanata2007
How big is your room? I have pretty simmilar 5.1 set up and absolutely happy with it. IMO S-10 would work perfectly, but if I were you, I get a bigger center.
CECAA850
Bookshelves in the rear, surrounds on the sides. Works great. Note, the jump from 5.1 to 7.1 isn't near as drastic as the jump from 2.0 to 5.1.

The RC-3ii was a Huge improvement over the C-2 I had. The jump from that to the RC-7 was just as, if not more significant.

RC62ii between F30. That was my old front stage, I found they matched well. I never considered anything smaller for a center, it is the most important speaker for ht

I never had 7.1 but RC-62II was the biggest and most noticeable improvement second only to upgrading old 8” Sony sub to a 12” BIC sub. I got older Synergy F-3 (as far as I know F-3 and F-30 specs are identical) and RC-62II and IMO they match perfectly.
