I was just searching for B&C DCM50 and ran into partsexpress. they got a good promotion for this driver. the original price is ~650USD but they are letting them go for 391USD! thought someone might need a pair. maybe it's an old news, I don't know.

ALK sells them for $1 less regular price.

Awesome driver.

Since it is used for a 3-way, and is recommended for crossovers down to 400hz, the DCM-50's only competitor in this list of drivers is the is the BMS 4592.

Both the B&C and BMS are great drivers. I prefer these to the other in the list because they do not use metal diaphragms. To my ears, the metal diaphragms tend to be less forgiving.

I have never heard the Radian, though I have read good reports of its performance.

The HF-200 is a good all around rugged driver, it is the least expensive of the bunch, and performs well. I find the Titanium diaphragm a bit harsh at times, but for general use it does the job.

In terms of price and performance, the B&C DE750, and DE-85TN are excellent drivers and more suitably categorized with the HF-200.

I will make it a point to get my hands on the Radian for listening tests, Dean speaks highly of Radian products.

I understand what opinions are, and I'm only stating mine, the dcm is just a mid, as such I'd include the bms4591, old school magnet, driver in the comparables list. however ALK makes a strong case for the dcm in khorn installations. its a driver who's sweet spot freq rangewise matches that of the khorn freq xo's.

as such this is a great 2" driver for those khorn tweakers.

the hf200 in my mind is a two-way driver. it beats the others in two way systems but can't beat two drivers covering the same freq range, imo.

great two way driver, tho
