Windows 8 seems to have a lot of USB & HDMI connectivity issues which I've also experienced with other products as well. I've decided to just use my old XP machine & Digital Labs Card Deluxe/analog mixer as usual on my recording projects for the foreseeable future. It's in perfect condition.
