ACM
I am moving out of state (again, ugh...) and need to make a lighter load. I have a piar of EV sm120a horns, cosmetically nice, funtionally perfect. These are the same mid horns used in the Sentry iii and iv, I beleive they are suitable from 400-6000hz. 120 degree, constand directivity. They accept a 1in thread-on driver, such as our beloved K55. I have heard these horns are a nice option in a LaScala but I have not tried that. In fact, I've never even listended to them. I thought I would use them in a project and never did. Dual 1229Q auto turntable. Has issues. Toneram bearings feel fine, motor spins, all the linkages are gunked up with old grease. This one needs a full service from someone that knows how to do it. No platter mat. Cosmetics are very nice on the TT itself, the base is about a 6 out of 10. These factory bases are pretty cheap and light, I think sound would improve a lot with a better base. Comes with dust cover, has a crack about an inch long in the back, some minor scuffing on top. Pioneer SX990, I beleive this is a 1970 model, 27 wpc. I just hooked it up after it had been sitting for 3-4 years. No sound out of one channel. I doubt de-oxit will fix it, just don't know. When I hooked it up 3-4 years ago, everything functioned. Missing one knob, and a little rough on cosmetics. Some lights are out. You could clean and polish the face and it would look pretty good. All items are pickup only, I don't want to ship these. I am located in Central AR, between Conway and Russellville. Edited August 29, 2014 by ACM

ACM
Ok, I have edited my post. If I'm honest with myself, I am never going to get to these projects. I can't bring myself to throw them away and I don't want to move them again. If nothing else, Heritage owners can experiment with a different horn sound for just the cost of gas. Or get a taste of the idler sound that's all the talk in certain circles. Anybody? Just PM me if intereted.

longdrive03
AVGUY - I picked these up from ACM on Sunday. Gonna use the horns in a LS project. My buddy got the turntable and receiver since he can fix those. Good to see someone on the forum from my hometown!!!
avguytx
You're originally from Searcy? I was born and raised here but moved away from 1990 to 2010. Lived in Tulsa for 14 years and then DFW for 6. Kind of a culture shock moving back after all that time.
