The History Kid Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) It has served its purpose for a good 12 years or so as an office receiver simply used to handle music - but I have since replaced this with a Marantz. I do have the remote, and somewhere I think I have the manual. DTS and Dolby encoders respond fine - and if you aren't a stickler for any of the newer codecs, I think you'll be pretty happy. Otherwise it can still hold its own for music.One note on it, the volume control on the actual receiver has a contact issue somewhere - I never got around to fixing it. My understanding is that it's fairly normal for the older Yamaha receivers. The remote's transmit light doesn't come up, but otherwise it works like a charm.Asking $70 shipped - unless you're up to a roadtrip.
